I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled

An Ordinance to amend the Promissory Oathes Ordinance, 1869.

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.

This Ordinance was introduced in consequence of the change made by Royal Instructions respecting the oaths to be taken by the Governor of the Colony and the manner of administering
